Minimum 12th standard pass in Science Certified training for Radiology Technician (programme aligned to HSS/Q 0201 released by Healthcare Sector Skill Council)

Preferred relevant work experience

The tasks a Radiology Technician is expected to perform include:

Performing diagnostic imaging examinations

Preparing patients for tests

Preparing operating equipment

Keeping patient records

Adjusting and maintaining radiology equipment

Knowledge about the essentials of anatomy, body cells and tissues

Well versed with the pathology of various systems

Knowledge of the basic principles and practical aspects of x-ray machines

Knowledge about the basics of CT machines Knowledge of MRI machines Proficiency in taking the medical history of patients and documents as required

Proficiency in interpreting instructions and requirements as documented Well versed with two and three-dimensional spatial relationships

Working hours

For freshers - INR 14,000 to INR 15,000 per month For candidates with 3-4 yearsexperience - INR 25,000 to INR 30,000 per month (These figures are indicative and subject to change)
