Medical Tourism and Certification/Accreditation of Medical Institutions

As covered earlier, medical tourism is being widely promoted by the Indian government. Certification/Accreditation of medical institutions definitely play a large role in attracting foreign nationals to Indian hospitals for treatment. With healthcare delivery players in the private sector vying for a share of international medical tourists, there is bound to be an increase in the number of medical institutions being certified/accredited.
