Minimum 1 year of on field work experience in electrical and wiring

The tasks an Electrical Supervisor, Wiring is expected to perform include:

Supervising installation of commercial, industrial and domestic wiring in factories, establishments and residential buildings

Planning and preparing the wiring diagram according to the building layout and guiding the wireman accordingly

Deciding the number of light points , power points and distribution of load, etc. according to the requirement of the customer

Marking location of the points, cutouts, ceiling roses, junction boxes, etc. keeping in mind the minimum exposure to weather and easy and safe access to the customer

Arranging the materials needed for wiring and ensuring optimum utilization of resources

Estimating the cost according to the type of wiring to be installed

Testing the wiring systems with merger on completion of work to ensure continuity and proper installation

Certifying that there is no leakage and wiring has been done in accordance to electricity act

Supervising installation of temporary wiring of geyser, air conditioners, booster pumps and other domestic appliances, if needed

Technical knowledge about industrial wiring

Knowledge of PCB assembling and testing

Working knowledge of semiconductors

Basic knowledge of preparing and designing the plans and drawings

Knowledge of proper material disposal procedures

Knowledge of the basic units of measurement

Knowledge of pre-installation preparation procedures

Ability to follow the techniques and procedures to correct any leakage
