Minimum th standard pass or Diploma holder from ITI Certified training for Plumber Foreman (programme aligned to PSC/Q 0 released by Indian Plumbing Skills Council)

6 years of minimum work experience as a general plumber in lieu of minimum educational qualification

The tasks a Plumbing Foreman is expected to perform include: Managing the activities of supervisors, plumbers and other staff members

Co-ordinating and scheduling the activities of supervisors, plumbers and other staff members

Managing the workforce Maintaining and planning an inventory of the required material

Managing and maintaining tools and equipment

Inspecting all the systems

Maintaining the quality of all installations and connections

Following safety and health regulations

Detailed knowledge of relevant materials, basic sanitary fittings and fixtures

Knowledge of various relevant techniques

Understanding of basic plumbing terminology

Understanding of relevant tools and equipment

Knowledge of the units of measurement

Understanding of the proper material disposal procedure

Understanding of various leaks and defects

Knowledge of how to perform pressure and flow/smoke tests

Previous on-the-job training

Knowledge of Hindi or any other regional language
