Minimum 1 year of work experience in the field of plumbing and pipe fitting
The tasks a Supervisor and Foreman, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting is expected to perform include:
Supervising workers engaged in pipe fitting and plumbing operations
Ensuring correct laying, joining and fitting of pipes, drainage system, etc
Studying lay out drawings of pipelines or sanitary fittings depending on tasks to be performed and instructing workers accordingly
Supervising cleaning of blocked drain pipes and correction of leakages if any.
Maintaining records and registers and submitting reports as required
Checking of pipelines and sewerage system periodically for its proper working
Guidingworkersininstallationofgasandhumepipes,creationwaterandgastightjoints,andremovalofwaterpipeleakagesbyleadburning,etc.,ifnecessary

Knowledge of basic sanitary fittings and fixtures
Basic knowledge of procedural techniques like bending, cutting, etc
