Minimum 6 months of work experience as an unskilled helper in lieu of minimum educational qualification

The tasks a Supervisor and Forman, Insulation is expected to perform include:

Supervising application of insulating materials in buildings, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, boilers, steam pipes, etc.

Studying drawings and specifications of insulation to be done

Procuring required quantity of insulating materials and accessories such as mineral wool, shredded or sheets of cork, asbestos, etc.

Ensuring correct application of the required type and thickness of insulating material

Correcting defects, if any, to get the required results

Maintaining necessary records and ensuring proper use of resources

Collecting the reading from meters and maintaining the records for the same

Knowledge of HVAC (Heater, ventilation and Air Conditioning)

Knowledge of HVAC pre-installation preparation procedures

Basic knowledge of various insulating tools, equipment and insulating materials used in the building e.g. steam pipes, boilers, sheets of cork, etc.

Ability to read and analyze the meter readings with the help of various tools and equipment

Ability to read the structural drawings, plans and designs

For freshers - 12000 to 15000 per month

For candidates with over 2 yearsof experience 15000 to 25,000 per month

Increase in spending power has given rise to urbanization which has eventually led to increase in smart living. The newly constructed buildings are centrally air conditioned and hence given rise to use of HVAC equipments which requires supervision of experts for installing the same.
