Producing dramatic performances for public entertainment

Studying the script and costumes to help select the actor and actress

Arranging for stage performance in various places

Arranging for rehearsals

Ability to manage a theatrical production

Knowledge of how a stage production works

Ability to arrange for the various performance-related requirements

Ability to understand finances

Ability to perform the functions of a Stage Director

Ability to work as an Actor, if required
