Minimum work experience/internship of 1 year in editorial and DTP

The tasks an Associate - Editorial is expected to perform include:Checking and correcting grammatical errors in reports

Editing the research reports to meet specific content requirements of publication

Checking the reliability and citation of sources, wherever required

Making required changes to content using standard tools and guidelines

Reviewing changes and incorporating important inputs

Obtaining approval of the changes

Updating the organisation?s knowledge base with changed content

Skilled in identifying all types of deviations, factual inaccuracies, linguistic mistakes, etc.Knowledge of different styles used in publications

Skilled in the use of references and bibliographies

Knowledge of standard tools available to change content

Proficient in checking and making corrections to content, for common editorial problems

Knowledge of organisation?s policies, standards and client-specific service level agreements (SLAs)

Certifications in instructional design, language expertise, linguistics, editing and proof reading

Good communication skills
