The tasks a Poet is expected to perform include:

Writing narrative, dramatic or lyric poetry for magazines, books and other publications

Choosing subject matter to express personal feelings and individual experiences via poetry or by narrating stories or events

Writing doggerel or other type verse

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar

Well-versed with writing poetry or stories on any given topics

Proficient in rewriting existing content in a fresh manner

Knowledge of current affairs

Well-versed with undertaking research on subject/topic of writing

Proficient in expressing feelings/experiences in words

Will be updated

Excellent command over English language

Effective writing skills

Attentive

Creative thinking

Good listener

Self-driven

Hardworking and persistent

Time management skills

It is a desk job

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Working hours

Working hours are 8/9 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary company to company

Overview of Film and Television Sector in India
