Communications Equipment Operators

The Communications Workers pathway includes telephone and switchboard operators and answering services among others. These professionals are required to connecting callers to their desired party, answering incoming calls using switchboards or other telephone systems and clerical duties like assisting customers in bill payment and taking messages. They may also assist customers in locating phone numbers or handling emergency calls.
