The tasks a Labourer, Agricultural is expected to perform include:Settling wages and working hours
Receiving allotment of work from fieldmen
Collecting seeds, equipment, fertilizers, etc.Attending to tasks in field in connection with planting
Preparing the soil, sowing, weeding and hoeing
Undertaking pruning and harvesting activities
Plucking fruits or flowers, threshing, drying, winnowing, bagging, storing, etc.Consulting fieldmen in different assignments as and when necessary
Knowledge of planting, sowing, growing and harvesting crops
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure and properties of substances, chemicals, etc.Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction or repair of farm buildings
Skilled in the use of farm machines and tools
Knowledge of functions such as collecting, grinding, sorting and/or processing soil and plant samples
Skilled in operating farm vehicles, tractors, trucks and forklifts
Knowledge of the latest technical advancements in farming methods
Proficient in basic arithmetic
Will be updated
