The tasks a Circular Saw Operator is expected to perform include:
Sawing plank and lumber by power driven circular saw
Selecting and fitting circular saw of appropriate size (toothed disk) to spindle of machine and secures it tightly in position with nuts and bolts
Adjusting machine table to required height and setting guide setters on machine table according to size of plank to be cut
Getting timber placed on machine table using hoist and other equipment and adjusting it against guide setter
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, etc.
Well-versed with design techniques, tools, etc.
Knowledge of setting cutting angle of saw
Proficient in starting machine to rotate spindle with disk at required speed
Ability to push timber along guide setter against rotating saw for cutting it
Proficient in cleaning and oiling machine
Knowledge of sharpening teeth of saw manually or on grinding machine
Diligent and hardworking
Dexterity of hands
Ability to focus for long hours
Ability to follow instructions
Problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
It needs one to be on their toes
Need not handle a team
Local travelling is a part of this job

The un-organized sector for the furniture market is at 10 % and growing at about 35 % CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate). Furniture segment compromises of 65 % of the home market and 35 % of institutions. The entire home d?cor category spends furniture accounts about 68 % of the share while remaining 32 % comprises of furnishing and home investments. Imported furniture constitutes to 85 % of the total organized furniture.
