Barman Lino Machine

The tasks a Barman Lino Machine is expected to perform include:

Cleaning the space band, moulding the surface and metal pot of lino-type setting machine and removing types which are stuck when bar of machine gets jammed

Unlocking moulding surface from machine and cleaning it with wire brush applying graphite with rag to remove metallic particles and dusting to prevent clogging during operation

Cleaning the metal pot to remove traces of metal particles from inside the surface

Removing the matrices which cause obstruction to movement of distribution bar on machine for removing the defects

Knowledge of operating lino-type setting machine

Proficient in maintaining the machine like cleaning, oiling, etc.

Knowledge of unlocking moulding surface from machine and cleaning it

Knowledge of changing measurement lines in mould of machine, if required, and supplying lead bricks to metal pot

Diligent and hardworking

Follow instructions

Accuracy in work

It needs one to be on their toes

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is not a part of this job

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Working hours
Working hours are 10/12 hours everyday for 5/6 days a week. This may vary from institution to institution
