Certified training for Trainee Associate (programme aligned to RAS / Q0103 released by Retailers Association?s Skill Council of India)

0 to 1 year experience in similar position

The tasks a Trainee Associate is expected to perform include:

Keeping the store visually appealing to the customer

Displaying stock (including windows and in-store) to promote sales

Following the design guidelines by the organization

Identifying and sourcing of props, fabrics, hardware, etc.

Setting up and dismantling the display in the stores

Updating stock records to account for merchandise on display

Setting up displays as per the health, safety and environmental standards

Keeping the parts of the display in the appropriate position promptly and if needed in a saleable condition

Cleaning display sites and parts

Labelling the products in retail stores

Checking the display regularly for safety and good visual effect

Helping customers to choose the appropriate product that matches their requirements

Identifying the right opportunities to tell the customer about additional products

Informing the customer regarding applicable warranty, replacement/repair and annual maintenance costs (if applicable)

Planning and organizing the delivery of the product purchased

Maintaining confidentiality of client?s information

Creating and maintaining a rapport with clients, both new and existing

Taking regular feedback regarding the product and customer services from the existing customers

Resolving customer service problems

Knowledge of how to interpret design briefs for retail displays

Knowledge of relevant information regarding the products/merchandise

Detailed knowledge of the light focus, colour, texture, shape and dimension

Ability to identify potential places for the display to increase visibility and attraction

Skilled in various design techniques

Adept in various techniques for reducing the risk of spillages

Ability to use various relevant equipment

MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Quick ?Books Coral Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design Knowledge of Hindi/English or any regional language

Occupational hazards include climbing ladders, lifting objects and moving items from one place to another , window displays, fatigue, body ache, strained muscles etc., may develop if not take care of.

For a Fresher - INR15,000 - INR20,000 per month

For candidates with over 2 years experience - INR25,000 INR30,000 per month
