The tasks a Conductor, Auction Sale is expected to perform include:
Preparing list of properties to be auctioned, and giving a description or demonstrating the working to buyers
Arranging the property/items in the room, hall or at the site
Making an inventory of the property, giving a short description and allotting a number to each item of property
Getting copies of the inventory prepared and distributing them amongst intending buyers
Reading a description of the property
Handing over the keys and other accessories to the buyers
In-depth knowledge of market value of different types of properties/items
Skilled in organizing auction activities
Knowledge of signals and other activities in the auctioning process
Knowledge of accounting and arithmetic
