Overview of Film and Television Sector in India

The Media and Entertainment industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country. The television segment in India accounts for over 40% of the revenues. The last decade has seen a surge in the creation of movies in India. With an increase in the spending capacity of the middle class, there has been a surge of movie-goers.
