The tasks an Attorney at Law is expected to perform include:
Giving advice in legal matters
Preparing case for Advocates for conducting it on behalf of the client
Filing legal proceedings in Court of Law
Receiving instructions from clients and obtaining all the necessary details from them
Studying the documents or papers involved in the case
Interviewing the witnesses in the best way possible
Gathering full information and preparing cases
Filing case in the court
Securing the writ of summons and obtaining court order permitting him/her to inspect and examining relevant documents
Collecting testimony of witnesses
Preparing brief for hearing before Judge
Discussing the case with Advocate concerned with the particular case
Submitting brief of the case to the Advocate and advising the Advocate
Attending the court and assisting the Advocate in presenting case before the Judge
Functioning as Notary Public if so appointed by the Government
Appearing in the court on behalf of the client
Ability to manage large volume of information
Ability to think of unique solutions to problems
Skilled in preparing legal strategies
Skilled in performing extensive research
Ability to comprehend pertinent information
Skilled in making reasonable judgments and assumptions based on information presented
In-depth knowledge of national and local laws, rights and duties
Proficient in symptomatic reading
Skilled in interpreting constitutional laws and studying the cases accordingly
