The tasks a Web Developer is expected to perform include:
Designing and writing codes for web-based applications/websites/portals
Maintaining web-based applications/websites/portals
Handling technical aspects of web-based applications/websites/portals
Designing, communicating and maintaining coding standards
Knowledge of Core PHP, Cake PHP, Joomla, Magento, Javascript, DBMS, My
SQL, .NET, Responsive Web Design, HTML5, CSS3 and j
Query
Equipped to provide estimation on the basis of Software Requirement Specification provided by the client
Ability to provide deadlines for project completion and other necessary requirements
Implement client feedback and upload it on the server
Ability to maintain version control
Ability to maintain database designs and prepare schemas
Knowledge of how to design the database architecture
Proficiency in using various RDBMS and XML schemas
Knowledge of client server and Internet systems architectures
Well-versed in OOPs
Experience in browser-specific compatibility issues and in making it responsive and
compatible in all screens
Competent in programming and coding
Web designing skills (working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
Good communication skills
Creative thinking
Willingness to undertake desk-based job along with long working hours
Work independently or in teams
Result-oriented

It accounts for 25 percent of the country?s total exports and contributes to 11 percent of total service revenues1. The ITS sub-sector is a major contributor to the overall IT-BPM industry.
The ITS sub-sector offers services to create and manage information for business functions through host of activities that include consulting, systems integration, IT outsourcing/managed services/hosting services, training and support/maintenance.
