The Librarians, Curators and Archivists pathway includes professionals who appraise, catalogue, process and preserve historically valuable documents and records, look after the collections of historic items and artworks, or develop, maintain, select and organize library collections. In addition, they restore, maintain, or prepare objects in museum collections for storage, research, or exhibit, assist users in locating and organizing information, compile records, remove or repair damaged books and media etc.
These professionals are typically employed by libraries, universities, archives, museums, art galleries and private organizations or they may be self employed.
