Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Public Relations, and Sales Managers includes those managers who coordinate marketing strategy, market research, sales, promotion, advertising, pricing, product development and public relations activities of their companies. In small firms the chief executive officer or the owner might themselves perform these duties. In large firms, which may offer multiple products and services at national or international levels, an executive vice president directs these activities.
Responsibilities may include identifying potential customers, determining demand, monitoring trends, product distribution, raising awareness and creating public image and soliciting funds for projects.
