NATA Exam

NATA is the National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission to the 5 Yr. B.Arch course offered by various institutes and colleges of architecture across India. These include Govt. and govt. aided colleges, private colleges, deemed universities and university departments. The exam is both paper and computer based and the applicants are tested on aesthetic sensitivity, observation and drawing skills, critical thinking and sense of proportion, which are all essential for the study of architecture. Eligibility criteria for taking the test include a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
