Supervisors of Transportation and Material Moving Workers

The Supervisors of Transportation and Material Moving Workers directly supervise and coordinate activities of transportation and material-moving machine and vehicle operators and helpers. Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules and regulations, planning equipment allocations and work assignments to meet operations, transportation or production goals and directing workers in transportation or related services. The pathway includes aircraft cargo handling supervisors, and first-line supervisors of helpers, laborers and material movers, material moving machine and vehicle operators, passenger attendants, and supervisors of all other transportation workers.
