Minimum12th standard pass or equivalent

Preferably one year experience in the line of business

The tasks a Working Proprietor, Wholesale Trade is expected to perform include:Purchasing goods in bulk and selling them to retailers or other large consumers for profit Laying down and controlling business policies to ensure profits, keeping in view price line, market trend and demand and supply position Appointing directors, managers and representatives and delegating financial and operational powers to them if necessary Running wholesale trade on monopoly or zonal basis in specific commodities either by importing them from outside or getting them manufactured

In-depth Knowledge of the particular trade/s and its product Knowledge of the market trends, price lines, competitors, demand and supply

Expertise in running a wholesale business, manufacturing the commodity or importing the required goods

Knowledge of accountancy, balance sheets, profit and loss, etc.

Knowledge of how to acquire licence or permit from public authorities for wholesale trade

Knowledge of export business

Good communication skills
