The tasks a Professional Sportsman is expected to perform include:

Participating in public exhibitions or competitions of games or sports for gain

Discussing details of engagement with clubs, institutions, etc. for participation in exhibition games or sports

Playing games or participating in sports according to established rules

Exhibiting talent, prowess, skill, style, etc.

Visiting different centres and places to participate in games according to engagement

Coaching players in particular games for consideration

Signing contracts for engagement

Playing games like cricket, football, tennis, etc. professionally based on the playersproficiency and engagement

In-depth knowledge of all the rules and regulations related to the game

Skilled in handling and using the sports equipment

Knowledge of events being held for sports professionals

Ability to take up engagement with various sports clubs, institutions etc.

Skilled in playing the game

Proficiency in fulfilling all the fitness criteria set by the sports body

Ability to keep mentally fit before a game/match

Skilled in exhibiting talent, prowess, skill, style, etc. in every game played
