Minimum Masters in Fine Arts

Preferably minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field

The tasks an Art Teacher is expected to perform include:

Instructing school students in art subjects such as drawing and painting

Demonstrating methods and techniques of using drawing materials such as brushes, scale, pencils and colours

Instructing in model drawing and painting of objects, landscapes, plant life, murals, etc.

Observing the work of pupils and making corrections

Organizing art exhibitions and visiting museums, art galleries and places of artistic interest

In-depth knowledge of fine arts

Proficient in painting, drawing, etc.

Knowledge of different types of art forms

Skilled in using all the drawing, painting and sketching related equipment such as pencils, brushes, colours, etc.

Skilled in assessing the work and development of students

Knowledge of local art galleries and museums

Schools usually work for 5/6 days a week and 7/8 hours everyday. This may vary from school to school
