The tasks a Telemarketing Sales Person is expected to perform include:Soliciting business for an establishment or clients via the telephone or e-mail Advising clients and processing financial and other queries and procedures Giving details of various goods or services and of the firm's terms of sale by contacting clients via telephone or email Identifying requirements, following up on deliveries and entering events into a computer system Dispatching tasks to other units, when relevant Handling invoices or payments, when necessary Sending letters, information sheets and other documents to clients Supervising other workers
Basic knowledge of using the telephone, e-mail and computers
Knowledge of phone and email etiquette
Knowledge of the products and services being sold, the specifications, price, offers, etc.Sales expertise
