Minimum Bachelors degree in Business Management

Preferably minimum 3 yearsrelevant experience in wholesale trade

The tasks a Manager, Retail Trade is expected to perform include:Organising and managing a retailtrade organisation or one or more if its branches or departments

Managing an organisation or its department/sengaged in buying and selling goods and merchandise for profits to customers

In-depth Knowledge of the retail trade and its products

Knowledge of the market trends, price lines, competitors, demand and supply

Thorough knowledge of the area of work

Working knowledge of retail trade sales procedures

Knowledge of managing financial and material resources

Expertise in developing and implementing learning strategies

Good communication skills

Planning and organising skills

Relationship management skills

Analytical and creative thinking skills

Performance management skills

People management skills

Negotiation skills

Time management skills

It is not a desk job

The role involves handling a team of personnel

Travelling is required for the job

Part-time work and contractual jobs are not available

Work from home option is not available

Working hours

Work is 5/6 days a week and a minimum of 8 hours per day

Shift work is available depending on the type of trade and size of the setup
