The tasks an Executive Officials, Union Government is expected to perform include:

Serving in various executive capacities in Union Government

Performing or supervising the performance of other executive and field duties

Performing duties such as assessing and collecting revenues; issuing passports, licenses and other authorisations

Supervising elections

Reconciling parties in trade disputes

Inspecting offices and establishments

Enforcing and implementing various rules, regulations and provisions of law

Skilled in taking up actions that work towards the implementations of policies and other decisions of the Government

Ability to perform executive as well as field duties

Skilled in supervising elections and issuing duties for the same

Ability to look into trade disputes

Proficient in conducting surprise inspection of offices and other establishments

Knowledge of all the rules, regulations and provisions of law
