Woodworkers produce items from wood. These workers also perform cabinet making (cabinetry and furniture) by shaping, cutting, and assembling wooden articles using power saws, mortisers, and jointers, wood carving, carpentry, joinery, and woodturning. Their profession may require operating, tending, or setting up machines such as wood sawing machine, computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipments, wood working machines like lathes, drill presses, sanders, routers, shapers planers, and wood nailing machines etc. They may also repair and refinish worn, or damaged wooden materials.
