Food Processing Workers prepare food for processing and sale using a number of equipments and tools. This includes trimming or cutting meat, seafood, and poultry for wholesale and retail sale, mixing and baking ingredients to produce baked goods such as breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, etc, roasting and drying of food items and tobacco, blending ingredients for cheese, candy etc and operating equipment such as boilers and deep fryers, among other jobs. Workers in this pathway need to be physical capable of dealing with the long hours and arduous work.
