Job Description:
Librarians, archivists and curators develop and maintain the collections of archives, libraries, museums, art galleries, and similar establishments.
Tasks:
Main Tasks include -
- appraising or developing and organizing the contents of archives and artefacts of historical, cultural and artistic interest, and ensuring their safe-keeping and preservation
- organizing the collections of and exhibitions at museums, art galleries and similar establishments
- developing and maintaining the systematic collection of recorded and published material and making it available to users in libraries and related institutions
- preparing scholarly papers and reports
- conducting research.
