The field of chemistry has eveolved from the ancient science of alchemy and is the scientific discipline of studying the structure, properties and interactions of atoms which make up elements and compounds. A strong foundation in science is required for undertaking it on the undergraduate level.
Depending on the country, undergraduate courses in this field are either three or four years long, with a further one or two years for post graduation.
