Minimum ? Graduate in any sector, preferably

Certified training for Sampling Coordinator (programme aligned to AMH/ Q1801 released by Apparel Made-ups Home Furnishing)

Minimum - 1 -2 years of experience in apparel field (product development), preferably

The tasks a Sampling Coordinator is expected to perform include:Planning, handling and monitoring new product development

Maintaining regular follow up with all sampling like, proto sample, size sets, fit samples and photo shoot samples

Preparing to get design sampled according to the buyer?srequest and as per the requisition provided from the concerned department Checking the different samples and ensuring that the final approved sample is documented, maintained and handed over for production

Ensuring that all the documents and information are ready before the sample is made and maintaining all the records for future use

Maintaining health, safety and security at workplace

Knowledge of different types of fabrics/garments, trims and embellishments

Knowledge of the garment construction techniques and processes

In-depth knowledge of range of fabrics and trims

Knowledge of basic sampling principles and procedure for preparing samples

Knowledge of cost process involved in making an apparel

Knowledge of characteristics of materials sampled and common contaminants

Skilled in conducting tests on samples and related handling and preparation requirements and responsibilities

Skilled in reporting and recording sampling information, such as legal requirements

Knowledge of quality and workplace practices

Ability to calculate the price of different materials

Ability to co-ordinate with other workers and departments

Knowledge of all the health, safety and security measures to be taken

Masters in Apparel Manufacturing and Merchandising
