The tasks an

Examiner, Dry Cleaning/Fabric Inspection Operator is expected to perform include:

Examining garments, textile furnishings or any other similar articles after dry-cleaning to detect and remove spots, stains or damage caused by process

Examining garments after dry cleaning for defects and damage

Passing on defective articles to Spot Remover or to Darner according to nature of defect for mending

Getting garments washed or dry-cleaned afresh

Skilled in detecting the spots, stains or damage on the fabric

Basic knowledge of the dry cleaning process and the machinery used

Ability to check the fabric after dry cleaning and look for any remaining spots or stains

Skilled in managing the personnel and other resources
