The tasks a Radio Craftsman, Installation is expected to perform include:

Installing, testing and repairing aircraft radio equipment during test flights

Studying circuit diagrams, drawings and radios and television sets and other audioequipmen

Testing and replacing defective radio equipment and components

Signalling ground stations and adjusting radio frequency

Checking batteries and keeping them charged

Knowledge on testing and repairing aircraft radio equipment Ability to inspect and test the complex radio electrical

Well-versed with circuit diagrams and drawings

Proficient in troubleshooting procedures

Knowledge of safe working practices and procedures

Proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers

Knowledge of reading and working from plans, schematics and technical manuals

Confidence & persistence
