Soap Machine Assistant

The tasks a Soap Machine Attendant is expected to perform include:

Tending automatic machine for cutting, chipping or rolling of soap

Setting up machine and tightening steel cutting wires on frame

Pushing slab of soap directly into machine cradle

Starting motor to force wires through slab to cut individual bars or chip into numerous pieces

Competent in operating and setting up automatic soap-making machine

Well-versed with pushing slab of soap into machine cradle

Knowledge of operating hand-powered winch to draw cutting wires through soap slab

Physically fit

Diligent and hardworking

Good observation skills

Motor skills

It requires one to be on their toes

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Working hours

Chemical & petrochemical companies usually work for 6 days a week and 8/10 hours everyday. This may vary from company to company
