The tasks a Box Closing Machine Operator (Match) is expected to perform include:

Operating the automatic match box closing machine to fit and closing inner match box case into outer match box cover

Observing the machine operation to ensure defect-free and continuous operation

Collecting the completed boxes at delivery end of machine and arranging them in trays for removal to filling section

Proficiency in checking and ensuring proper feeding of inner and outer boxes into machine

Well-versed with observing machine operations like movement of inner and outer match box covers from bins over conveyors, inner case pushed inside outer cover, etc.

Adept at removing damaged or broken boxes from conveyor and depositing them in waste container

Knowledge of stopping machine if boxes get jammed over conveyor system

Proficiency in removing any defect and ensuring continues operation
