The tasks a

Cutter, Furis expected to perform include:

Cutting fur according to pattern for making or repairing garments or other articles

Selecting required number of fur

Arranging fur on pattern outlines

Ensuring that parts to be joined together match in quality and colour

Cutting fur to required size and shape with hand knife

Performing some or all duties of Grader and Matcher, Fur

Skilled in maintaining the quality of fur while working on them

Skilled in measuring and cutting techniques

Knowledge of tracing techniques

Skilled in cutting different types of fur

Basic knowledge of making pattern/designs on different types of fabrics

Not applicable
