Washing Machine Operator

The tasks a Washing Machine Attendant is expected to perform include:

Tending the washing machine for washing and cleaning food grains

Starting and feeding the machine with grains by hand or adjusting the flow of grain from the chute

Regulating the flow of water into the grain by manipulating the lever

Observing the automatic washing of the grain visually to ensure proper washing

Washing the grains in a tank filled with the required quantity of water

Soaking grains for a prescribed period

Cleaning and oiling the machine

Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment

Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations

Proficient in working on the machine for washing the food grains

Familiar with the entire process of washing the grains

Knowledge of the different types of food grains

Skilled in oiling and performing other maintenance tasks of the machine
