Painter Helper, Construction Painter Helper

Minimum - Preferably 5th standard pass with normal literacy of reading, reading writing and understanding/Helper Painter Level 1 qualified

Certified training for Helper Painter & Decorator (programme aligned to CON/Q 0501 released by Construction Skill Development Council)

The tasks a Helper Painter & Decorator Level-1 is expected to perform include: Identifying and using basic tools and equipment

Preparing, handling and storing paints and related materials

Erecting and dismantling 3.6 metre temporary scaffolds

Preparing all type of basic surfaces for painting works

Performing tasks under health, safety and environmental regulations

Knowledge of classification, storing, handling, upkeep, repair, maintenance, checking and testing of tools, equipment and material

Knowledge of loading, unloading, handling and stacking hazardous/non-hazardous material as per their height, their physical properties, size and shape

Knowledge of bagging, bag handling, sizing and sorting Working knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, process and safety methods required in erecting and dismantling 3.6 metre temporary scaffoldings

Detailed knowledge of the various types of paints, materials, ratio and mix proportions, surface preparations, colour combinations, rectification of patchwork, and sealing compounds

Working knowledge of paints, materials, other ingredients, blending techniques, standard methods for preparation of platform, placing and the process of mural painting

Understanding of how to identify, select and use basic dressing material, first aid and PPEs

Sound knowledge of accident, health, safety and evacuation procedures and their reporting

Trained for 6 to 8 weeks so as to qualify test & assessments by authorised agency as per NOS for Level 1.

Working hours

For freshers -5,000 to6,000 per month

For candidates with up to 2 years experience -6,000 to8,000 per month

For candidates with over 2 years experience 8,000 to12,000 per month
