Minimum experience of 3? 5 years in relevant field

The tasks a Mechanic, Pump is expected to perform include:

Repairing centrifugal and reciprocating pumps

Dismantling pump using hand tools

Repairing defective parts by doing replacements, setting them back in position, etc.

Testing reassembled or repaired unit for pressure, leakage, etc.

Making necessary adjustments in the pump for appropriate yield of air, oil or water

Locating faults in the electric system of the motors of the pumps

Knowledge of centrifugal and plunger pumps

Skilled in assembling pumps

Basic knowledge of repairing motor

Familiar with rewinding of field coils used in pumps

Knowledge of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships and applications

Not required

Working hours
