Animation Boom in Entertainment

According to a recent report by Nasscom, the Indian animation industry, with a market size valued at US$ 300 million, has come a long way in the last couple of years. The report further add on that India should easily cross US$ 869 by 2010, pushing the compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) to over 25% between 2006 and 2010.Currently the market is mainly driven by outsourced work, with about 60-70% of the revenues come from the West. However, that would not be the case for long say experts; the domestic market might soon take a bigger share in the growth.

The rising demand for animation personnel and related artists presents tremendous employment opportunities for many creative minds such as Animation Director in the industry.
