Minimum ? Bachelor?s degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or diploma in Mechanical

Preferably minimum experience of 8 to 14 years in related area

The tasks a Manager, Automotive Service Station is expected to perform include:

Managing automobile service station by developing plans and implementing policies

Hiring and training workers

Preparing the work schedules and assigning duties to the workers

Directing, co-ordinating and participating in performing customer service activities, suchas pumping petroleum fuel, checking engine oil, tires and batteries

Promoting sale of products and services, such as oil change and lubrication, tires, battery or other automotive accessories

Performing automotive maintenance and repair work, such as adjusting or relining brakes, motor tune ups, valve grinding, changing and repairing tires

Skilled in ensuring a smooth execution of service activities

Skilled in training staff

Knowledge of product technical analysis and feedback process

Skilled in co-ordinating with sales and spare part team

Proficiency in providing customer support by resolving the customer queries

Skilled in supervising technicians and dealing with customers

Basic knowledge of computer applications

Automotive Industry in India
