The tasks a Saw Grinder, Hand is expected to perform include:Sharpening teeth of different kinds of saws by filing and slightly bending them in required direction

Examining dull saw blade and determining extent of grinding and mending of saw teeth required

Fixing saw blade on wooden cramp and grinding each saw tooth individually with triangular file

Feeling sharpness by touch and bending saw teeth alternately or as designed using hammer and sawage or special pliers

Making saws by cutting fresh teeth and fixing handle in new or used blades

Skilled in sharpening techniques

Basic knowledge of examining a dull saw and measures to mend it

Knowledge of filing techniques

Knowledge of using sawage, hammer and pliers

Basic troubleshooting techniques
