Minimum experience of 1 to 4 years in relevant field

The tasks a Sheet Metal Worker, Structural is expected to perform include:Assembling, altering and repairing prefabricated sheet metal sections according to specifications

Drilling, riveting, trimming and soldering the metal sheets to form body structures of motor vehicles, aircraft, water tanks, etc.Studying drawings, blueprints and other specifications

Selecting and measuring prefabricated metal sheets and marking positions to indicate joints, bends, etc.Punching holes, trimming and bending metal sheets to required shape and size

Skilled in metal sheet assembly, alteration and repairs

Knowledge of various metal sections, joints and components

Proficiency in performing various mechanical processes such as drilling, riveting, trimming, soldering, etc.Knowledge of application of metal sheets to produce motor vehicles, aero space products, sea vessels, water tanks, etc.Efficient in interpreting drawings, blueprints, plans and other specifications

Knowledge of the appropriate size, shape, form and thickness of metal sheets

Skilled in the use of measuring equipments, hand tools, welding machines, etc.Equipped to perform on-the-spot welding and emergency fixes
