The tasks a Press Shop Assistant/Helper is expected to perform include: Assisting the operator in machine operations and maintenance

Removing the scrap generated during the pressing operation

Loading blanks on the press line

Unloading work pieces from the press line

Knowledge of the different types of pressing operations

Basic knowledge of the different types of presses that are used in the pressing process

Familiar with unloading and storing the pressed objects

Basic knowledge of identifying the different types of wastes and ways to dispose of them

Knowledge of 5S principles

Manual dexterity

Physically fit

Training in basic press shop and housekeeping skills

Training in 5S and safety

Safety-oriented

It is not a desk job

Need not handle a team

Local travelling not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Working hours

Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week
