The tasks an Technical Support Executive-Non Voice is expected to perform include: Solving queries and customer cases over web-chat or email

Knowledge about relevant standards, policies, procedures and guidelines that apply when dealing with basic IT service requests/incidents

Good knowledge about relevant product reference guides or support materials to help resolve problems

Well-versed with the range of common problems and how to resolve them

Familiarity with techniques used to test potential solutions remotely with customers

Training programs in customer orientation, virtual communication, dealing with difficult customers etc.
