Minimum ?Diploma/B. Tech/BE in Industrial/Production/Mechanical Engineering

Certified training for Process Tryout Engineer Level 4 (programme aligned to ASC/Q 6404 released by Automotive Skills Development Council)

Experience of 1-3 years if completed ASDC Manufacturing Process or Tool Design L3

B. Tech with 5 years of experience

The tasks a Process Tryout Engineer Level 4 is expected to perform include:

Co-ordinating the receipt of the equipment

Assembling all the parts of the main/auxiliary equipment

Integrating all accessories and fittings to be used for the process

Inspecting the main and auxiliary equipment

Conducting trials of new processes

Submitting the findings of the trials

Making the necessary quantity for the pilot batch size for customer, gauge/process validation

Ensuring that the entire activity is in accordance with the requirements of APQP, CP, PPAP and TS/ISO 16949

Knowledge of equipment available in the local and global market

Ability to keep abreast with the latest technological updates

Familiar with the elements of automation/robotics

Basic knowledge of the elements of control systems

Skilled in the process of validation methodology

Familiar with the working of various tools, machines and gauges for shop floor activity

Knowledge of all arithmetic calculations for determining productivity

Basic knowledge of calculating the cost of manufacturing

Basic knowledge of 5S practices

Training in fundamental statistics

Independent worker Decision-making skills

Result-oriented Analytic bend of mind

Working hours

Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week
