The tasks a Concrete Mixer Operator is expected to perform include:Operating small portable power-driven concrete mixing machine to mix dry cement, sand, gravel and water for making concrete or cement mortar

Starting motor and rotation of mixing drum

Feeding materials (sand, gravel and cement) in proper proportion into mixing drum, using shovel or by manipulating lever that controls feeding

Discharging concrete from drum by tilting drum or by opening discharge chute

Knowledge of admitting measured amount of water into drum

Allowing drum to rotate for specified time for proper mixing of materials into concrete

Well-versed in cleaning interior with water and removes adhering concrete

Proficient running repairs
