The tasks an Auto Service Technician Level 3 is expected to perform include:

Assisting in service, maintenance and mechanical repairs to any part of the motor vehicle

Procuring workshop supplies and tools as directed by the supervisor

Maintaining an inventory of tools and parts

Familiarity with the various components of a vehicle

Familiarity with various tools and machines used for repairs

Ability to perform laborious work

Ability to carry out minor repair work

Ability to keep the workplace organized and clean

Knowledge of how to move vehicles

Knowledge of how to lift materials or equipment manually or using hoists

Physically fit

Previous Automotive Technician experience

Proficiency in a local language

Certification from ASDC for Auto Service Technician level 3 or an ITI Diploma

Self-motivated

Team player

Troubleshooting skills

Technical bend of mind

It is not a desk job

Need not handle a team

Local travelling is/is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs are available in some cities

Working hours

Working is 9 hours everyday for 6 days a week
